How do I return a backspin serve in ping pong/ table tennis? If the opponent has a serve with extreme backspin what is the easiest/best way to return it? Should I try to put my own backspin on it (open my racket face and chop down) or should I try to counteract it with topspin? Thanks
If you prefer an offensive return, then return by converting the backspin by imparting a powerful topspin.In case of defense then just cancel the backspin by your backspin.Can be explained better by diagram or read any book.
