if you are a table tennis player please help me??????????
i have three kinds of service. in a play, i usually serve one or two of them. and i give my best service weapon in difficult situations such as a tie situation (duce).or usually when my opponents score is higher than me in a match. now the problem is i cannot perfect one of my serves. that serve is the “backhand chop serve”. there are times when i cannot put spin on it and sometimes i cannot even hit the ball. i feel mad(i usually throw the ball a far) every time i commit mistake with that serve.in fact, there one’s a time that my opponent (he’s a friend) laugh at me when i comitted that mistake. i felt shame that time and i’m trying to cope with that. any advice plzzzzzz????????
Hey, i think i know what you’re talking about. This is only advice I can give.
With your backhand chop serve, make sure you hit the ball while your racket is behind the end of the table, so take a step back, and give yourself enough room that you can chop the ball as much as you like without worrying about the table getting in the way.
Also, make sure you hit it at a reasonable height, preferably at or just above the height of the net. Otherwise it will go straight into the net, will go out over the table, or you’ll bounce it high and will give your opponent the advantage.. remember, the aim of the chop serve is to keep the ball low, and force your opponent to hit the ball upward. Beat that bloke that laughed at you will ya. LOL
